Controling search

Explains how to restrict search with Online Booking widget

Changing the start hours

The time slots shown in the search widget are 9-12, 12-15, 15-18, 18-21, 21-23 and 23-1. You can add the start-hour parameter to the widget to control the start hour. For example setting it to 15 will make the 9-12 and 12-15 options not available.

<bubi-online-booking start-hour="15"></bubi-online-booking>

Restricting the search to a particular product

To restrict the search to a particular product open the page with a query parameter id=<number> in the hash path. For example:

<a href="/bookings?#/online-booking/search?id=169">Search For GP 30</a>

The snippet above will open a page with path /bookings in the CMS site which hosts the online booking widget (the custom element snippet in the beginning of the page) and pass product Id 169 (which in case of Kart Palast in the example is GP 30). Opening this link will also show product information before the search.

Search with a product info loaded.

You can also cause the search to go to search results directly by passing parameters to the query string in the hash path.

<a href="/bookings?#/online-booking/search?d=13032020&f=12&t=15&n=3">Search For GP 30</a>

The snippet above will open the search results directly with date 13 March 2020, time from 12:00 to 15:00 and number of drivers 3.

The parameters are: d: Date with format ddMMyyyy f: From hour t: To hour n: number of places r: Name of the race track URL encoded (For example Indoor%20RW1 for "Indoor RW1") n: Name of the product URL encoded (For example GP%2030 for "GP 30").

Search results would be shown as follows:

Seach results

The customers can then click either Reserve or Book to create a cost free reservation that will be cancelled automatically if not confirmed within a specific time period or a confirmed booking.
